Avery Legacy - Chapter 92 - Headmaster Visits

@ 112 Tracy Lane: Brand Avery (fortune), wife Trista (knowledge), daughter Carina (family/alien abduction), daughter Celena & son Charles.

Brand really wanted his daughters to get into private school. So he called up Ash who is the headmaster at an exclusive private school nearby. Unfortunately Brand didn't bother to plan ahead. After a lovely tour of the home, Brand realized that there was no food in the house. He sent Celena to keep the headmaster busy while he made a few phone calls.

Brand ordered a pizza only to find out later that Ash couldn't eat cheese for medical reasons. Carina searched the freezer and found one lone tv dinner. She had no idea how long it had been there. There were ice crystals on the box. But this was all the food that they had so she quickly popped it in the oven. When it was done she served it to the headmaster. He gobbled it down like a starving man.

Despite his reservations about allowing a green skinned girl into his school, Ash told Brand that he would be happy for his two daughters to attend his academy. (Total 131 points: 47 food, 45 tour & 39 smoozing - all from that one game of chess. Saved myself from near disaster. Can't believe he wouldn't eat pizza but would give me that many points for a tv dinner.)

Only a few months later, Charles was ready to start school. Brand decided to call up the headmaster again for another visit. He checked the frig. Yep, plenty of food. He then placed the call.

After being greeted by Brand, Ash walked straight upstairs and started playing the guitar. Maybe he didn't think he needed a tour again.

Or maybe it was because Brand greeted him in his boxers. Still wearing his favorite outfit, Brand went to work and fixed a stunning turkey dinner. He eventually coaxed the headmaster down the stairs. Seeing that his brother was headed for disaster, Ben tried to help out by discussing various boring topics with Ash while Brand sat nearby smiling like an idiot.

Ben then invited the headmaster to join him for a rousing game of chess while Brand headed to the bathroom. Maybe he was going to get dressed finally.

Well no. Brand loves those boxers. He would never change out of them. Ash overlooked this and offered to teach Charles at his school. (Barely scraped the points this time. I was having a really bad day. Oh, and I got less points for the turkey than I did for the tv dinner. Go figure.)

With all of his kids in private school now, Brand thought that he could relax. Then Carina started talking about heading to college. She seemed to think she was ready. Well he wasn't. She is his baby. HIS baby. He didn't want her to leave.

Trista had a long talk with her husband that night. Carina was a good kid. It was time to let her go. She would be fine in college. Yes guys would be attracted to her because she was different. Yes she longs to find love and she might mistake desire for real love. Yes it's possible that she might have sex before marriage. Nothing to worry about though. It will all be just fine.

With her pep talk having been a complete disaster, Trista has to find other ways to distract her husband. She'll have him forgetting all about what might be happening on campus in no time.

Carina made it to college and was placed in the dorm room with the invisible bed. Challenges right off the bat.

It's Celena's birthday. Let's see. What should I wish for? I know. I wish for dad to start getting dressed in the morning so I am not embarrassed when I bring over my friends.

Celena has decided to follow her father's footsteps and make as much cash as possible. She's not actually that concerned about how she makes it either if you follow me.

Poor Brand. He looks at Celena in her new make-up (that Trista never should have bought for her because she is clearly to young for it). She is beautiful. There is no doubt about it. He's going to have to go and find a really big stick so he'll be prepared when the boys start coming around.

Avery Legacy - Chapter 91 - A New Life

@ 2002 Opposite Way: Corey Byall (popularity), wife Faith (romance), daughter Grace.

Faith seems to have come down with something. She already feels like a completely incompetent mother and now this. At first she thought she might be pregnant again. She was actually happy to find out that it was just a stomach virus. The doctor gave her antibiotics so hopefully she'll be feeling better soon.

With Faith still feeling under the weather, Corey has a private birthday celebration for his daughter. Grace is a Libra with 1 neat, 8 outgoing, 5 active, 2 playful & 10 nice.

Faith starts feeling better. She tries to help Corey with the parenting. She really is trying but she's just not got the natural instincts for it. She is starting to feel like a complete failure.

After getting Grace to sleep, Corey cheers his wife up in the hot tub. Kendal picks that same moment to make her first ghostly appearance.

Yes the ghost activity is up at the Byall house. Maybe Corey should just quietly clean his daughter up so that he doesn't have to explain to Faith exactly what she's been splashing in.

After feeling fine for a few weeks, Faith is once again sick. What could be wrong with her now?

Faith was very upset to find out that she was pregnant again. No one told her that the antibiotics would render her birth control pills useless. Why is this happening to her? Is she being punished. She is a terrible mom. Why would the fates give HER another child?

Of course Corey was absolutely thrilled to find out that he was going to be a dad again. He honestly never expected to become a father after falling in love with Faith. She just didn't seem the mothering type. He thinks she does a wonderful job now but can't convince her of it. Grace adores her mom. If only Faith could see that.

Faith still thinks she's lousy at parenting but she has come to terms with being pregnant again. She has actually come to want this child. She is almost looking forward to having another baby in the house.

Grace is now a child. She'll be starting school soon.

Early one morning, Faith goes into labor. She gives birth to a baby boy with his father's blond hair and green eyes.

Corey couldn't believe he had a son. He named his little boy Royce. It was actually Faith's idea but he really liked it.

It's funny but Faith felt like she was doing a much better job with Royce. She actually started wanting to have another child. She knew that she would soon be to old for more kids. It was now or never. She approached her husband about the subject. Corey was caught off guard by this. Both of their children had been happy accidents. He considered them a blessing. Now Faith was willing to actually try for one more. He had no idea what he had done to deserve this. He happily agreed to try. He would like nothing more than a third child in the house.

Royce had a birthday and is now a toddler. He's a Sagittarius with 7 neat, 0 outgoing, 10 active, 9 playful & 6 nice.

Faith didn't have any trouble getting pregnant for the third time. Since this was the last time she tried to enjoy the experience. Corey was constantly telling her how beautiful she was. Sometimes she thought he must be joking. How could he find her sexy with her big fat tummy and duck waddle? But Corey wasn't joking. He had never been more attracted to her. He spent as much time as possible proving it to her.

Just after midnight, Faith went into labor. Despite her age, she gave birth to her third child without any difficulty.

As Faith looked down at her daughter all she could see was love. That then became her name, Love Byall.

Corey thought that Love was named quite appropriately. He had never been happier than he was now. He would forever love his wife for what she had given him. Love meant more to him than anything because Faith had willingly gotten pregnant with her. He would love and cherish this woman until the day he died.

Time flies when you're happy and in love. Before Corey was ready it was time for more birthdays. Royce is now a child and will be starting school soon.

Love is now a toddler. She is an Aquarius with 2 neat, 3 outgoing, 5 active, 9 playful & 10 nice. Faith has gained more confidence in her mothering abilities. She plans on helping with the hard stuff this time around. Corey just smiled when she announced that she would be teaching Love to talk. The smile stayed in place as he watched quietly from the doorway.

Also celebrating a birthday was Grace who is now a teen. She wants to learn everything and become a scientist someday. So apparently she got right to it instead of taking a birthday shot. I'll have to sneak one in somewhere eventually.

Notes: First, food poisoning has become a problem for me lately. I need to be more careful. Second, Faith had the want to have a baby with both of her last two pregnancies. I think I've really confused her. I made her a roaring romance sim and then made her go cold turkey. Now she wants kids and actually finally has wants regarding her kids. She hasn't wanted to flirt with anyone but her husband in quite a while. The only romance sim want that she has kept is to make out with 20 people. Otherwise, you'd swear she's a family sim.

Avery Legacy - Chapter 90 - Making it Work

@ 111 Tracy Lane: Bram Avery (fortune), wife Laura (popularity), friend Valerie Haggerty (popularity) and nephew Chris (current heir of generation 3 line 2).

Things have improved in Valerie's life lately. She and Boris are an item again. It started out with the two of them running in the each other while shopping. Now it has grown into much more. Boris comes by often. Although Valerie is still the primary care giver, Chris does now know that he has a father. And although mommy was his first word, daddy wasn't that far behind.

Bram is very happy that his brother Boris has turned a corner. He and Laura hit a brick wall for a minute or two but they now seem to have found a way around it. Laura blamed herself for Banning's death since it was her idea that he help out in the desert. Bram had a hard time convincing her that it wasn't her fault. He had never once blamed her. The thought never even crossed his mind. Of course it did occur to him that his wife and the future mother of his child had a very dangerous job. He asked her to consider another line of work. The idea didn't go over well. In the end they agreed that Laura was not responsible for Banning's death and Bram was ok with Laura being the Captain Hero of Eden Falls as long as she was careful. They then celebrated by trying once again to make a baby. They are getting help from a specialist but still no success. The doctors can't find a reason why they are not getting pregnant. They just aren't.

Boris is now trying to come by as often as possible. Watching Ben struggling to be the sole parent to Cosmic and watching William deny that he has a daughter has made Boris take a long hard look at his life. Bram is struggling to have a child. Boris is already a father. It's time he started acting like it. He wants his son to know who he is. He wants his son to be happy. He wants Valerie to be happy. Boris was surprised to find that he is happiest when making Valerie happy.

And Boris definitely knows how to make Valerie happy. Valerie finally asked Boris to spend the night with her. She was very happy when he agreed. In fact Boris has been spending most of his nights with Valerie these days. Sometimes they have fun. Sometimes they just fall to sleep in each others arms. They both know that it won't last forever though. Boris plans on going back to work soon. He doesn't feel right sponging off his brother Ben forever. He doesn't want to go back into the culinary field but maybe he could still put his art degree to good use. Lately he has fancied the idea of becoming a serious artist. Of course once he starts working again he will have less time to spend with Valerie and Chris. He knows that he wants to be in their lives so he knows that he'll find a way to make it work somehow.

Of course all that fun can sometimes have consequences. Valerie is once again pregnant. She was somewhat nervous about telling anyone. She knew how much Laura wanted a baby. She knew how much Boris originally hadn't wanted any babies. Knowing that it would all come out eventually, Valerie gathered her courage and just told everyone. Laura said she was very happy for her. Valerie could tell that she was upset but didn't know anything that she could do to help. Hopefully she and Bram would get pregnant soon and Laura could wear ugly maternity clothes too. Boris, well Boris took things a lot better than she had expected. He actually seemed happy. He reached down and rubbed her tummy. He gave her the biggest grin before pulling her into his arms. He told her that he loved her before kissing her breathless. For a minute or two they seemed like a normal happily married couple.

It was her son's birthday so Valerie threw a party. It seems very appropriate that the son of a general would be dressed in camo.

After all the guest were gone and everything had been cleaned up, Bram and Laura went back to work on project baby. This has to be the month it works. It just has to be.

Chris has started school now. His uncle Bram taught him how to study because his mom was to tired. Chris sees his dad almost every day. He doesn't really understand why his dad lives somewhere else. Most of the other kids have dads that live with them. It's ok though. He has a dad who loves him. Some kids don't have dads at all.

At long last, Laura and Bram are going to have a baby. They are both very excited. Since they know that this will probably be their only child, they are both trying to savor every moment. Well at least the good ones anyway.

On one of the few nights that Boris wasn't there, Valerie gave birth to his daughter. The little girl has her mother's blond hair and her father's brown eyes. Valerie and Boris had discussed names. Valerie wanted him to have an imput since he had nothing to do with choosing their sons name. Valerie and Boris named their daughter Cara Lynn Haggerty. Although Boris wouldn't admit it, he was a little bothered that his daughter wouldn't carry the Avery name.

Boris arrived as quickly as possible to meet his little girl. He couldn't help but think that she would be a real heart breaker one day. She reminded him so much of her mother. Boris spent that day and that next night with Valerie and Cara. He fed and cuddled his daughter. He even got up with her during the night. For the first time ever, he found himself questioning whether or not he was living at the right house.

Kids grow up quicker than any parent would like. In what seemed like an instant, Cara Lynn became a toddler. She is a Scorpio like her dad with 7 neat, 6 outgoing, 10 active, 6 playful & 2 nice.

Not long after the birthday party was over, Laura went into labor.

She gave birth to a baby boy with his mother's black hair and his father's brown eyes. Laura and Bram named their son Chad.

Boris is still hanging around as much as possible. Valerie has taught their daughter all the important stuff. Boris just does the fun stuff. Tickle monster, bath time, hanging by your ankles. That stuff is just as important as being potty trained after all.

It's birthday time again. Chad Avery is now a toddler. He has definitely inherited the Avery brow. His is an Aquarius with 7 neat, 5 outgoing, 6 active, 9 playful & 8 nice.

Also celebrating a birthday is Cara Lynn. She is now ready to start school. Her dad has bought her a fairy outfit and she simple refuses to take it off. She is a big time daddy's girl.

Boris and Valerie are very happy. Their kids are happy and healthy. Their relationship is good. Other than the whole not married and living in two separate houses thing, their lives are practically perfect.

Of course that was before their son became a teen. But he is a good kid. Hasn't gotten into any trouble...yet. He longs to know everything and wants to be a scientist someday.

Of course he has been spending a lot of time with Ivy lately. But she's a reformed criminal... maybe. Well she definitely hasn't been caught since Faith let her out of the patrol car.

Also growing up is Chad who now gets to know the joys of attending school. He looks a lot like his dad did at this age.
